EU awards 480,000 tonnes Ukrainian corn imports

Official data showed on Wednesday that the EU has awarded licences to import 480,000 tonnes of corn and 270,000 tonnes of barley under duty-free quotas reserved for Ukrainian supplies.

The volumes were by far the biggest granted so far this year under the EU's tariff-rate quota (TRQ) import scheme for grains.
