10,000 tonnes of pork from China's state reserves to be auctioned
The China Merchandise Reserve Management Center said a further 10,000 tonnes of frozen pork from China's state reserves will be auctioned on April 16, 2020, reported Reuters.
A total of 270,000 tonnes of frozen pork has been released from state reserves to control increasing swine prices caused by the African swine fever outbreak and movement restrictions imposed due to COVID-19.
