Trouw Nutrition appoints director of global operations

 

Trouw Nutrition has announced on April 8 the appointment of Michael Brebbia as director of global operations.

Brebbia will report directly to CEO Saskia Korink and will become a member of the Trouw Nutrition Leadership Team.

He holds a Master of Science in food engineering from AgroParisTech. He joined Nutreco in July 2018 and brings to the role a strong international manufacturing and supply chain track record built at Danone & Roquette, as well as experience from leading the operations function in the Trouw Nutrition ECAM cluster.

Following his interim appointment on December 1, 2020, Brebbia has actively engaged on both Trouw and Nutreco levels to shape an operational excellence agenda that will aim to transform the operations and supply chain functions within Nutreco over the coming years. He will provide leadership for this journey and will partner with the Nutreco Value office as well as Skretting Operations to drive improvements in operational excellence, sales and operations planning and safety across the whole of Nutreco. As such, the Nutreco Operational Excellence, S&OP, and NIP teams will be reporting to Brebbia, who in turn reports directly to Nutreco CEO Rob Koremans.
