Taiwan reported new FMD cases
Four new cases of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) have been reported to the OIE by the Taiwanese Chief Veterinary Officer and Deputy Director General, Dr Kwo-Ching Huang.
The new outbreak was recorded at Erlin Township, Chang-Hua, Taipei.
The outbreak affected only four of the 3055 pigs susceptible. No deaths have been reported.
The source of the outbreak is still unknown.
