China Soymeal: Prices fall to pre-war levels (week ended Apr 11, 2022)

Over the week, the closing price of CBOT July soy futures rebounded 7.2%.
Soymeal production increased, hence exerting pressure on prices together with sluggish demand. Tumbling over the past two weeks, soymeal prices have fallen to below levels before the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Soymeal prices averaged RMB4,398/tonne, plunging RMB331/tonne or 7% compared with the previous week.
