China soybean imports almost unchanged from same period last year
China's soybean imports rose 0.1 percent on-year in the January to March period to reach 5.41 million tonnes, the General Administration of Customs said on its website Wednesday (Apr 12).
Soybean imports in March totaled 2.6 million tonnes, it said.
China is the world's biggest importer of soybeans, and receives most of its supplies from the US, Brazil and Argentina, the leading soybean producers in the world.
