Ukraine exhausts full export quotas for wheat, barley and corn

As of April 1, 2011, Ukraine exhausted 100% of the export limits for wheat, barley and corn, which hit a total of one million tonnes, 200 thousand tonnes and three million tonnes respectively, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine announced on its official website.

Ukrainian traders still did not utilise the limit quantities for rye and buckwheat, which came to a total of one thousand tonnes each.

The reporting export quotas were decided by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers #938 dated October 4, 2010, "On confirmation of quota volumes for separate varieties of agricultural products, which exports to be subject to licensing till December 31, 2010, and adoption of the order of issuance of the licenses for exports of the certain range of agricultural products and quotas distribution".

As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended the limits for grain exports from Ukraine until July 1, 2011.
