Argentina's 2005/06 corn sales at 8.585 million tonnes

 

 

As of April 4, Argentina has sold 8.585 million tonnes of 2005/06 (March-February) corn for export, unchanged from the past 19 weeks, according to the Agriculture Secretariat's latest data.

 

The Secretariat closed the corn export registry in November in the face of soaring export declarations.

 

By this time last year, Argentina had sold 14 million tonnes of 2004/05 corn.

 

Each figure represents thousands of tonnes sold.
