Vitamin A prices rise significantly in China on buoyant demand
Prices increased prominently over the past few weeks.
Export demand for vitamin A was strong while domestic buyers increase stockpiles as well. Hence producers lifted prices as supplies remained tight during the period in review.
Price quotes of locally produced vitamin A were significantly higher at RMB120-124/kg.
The price hikes of vitamin A are expected to slow down in the coming period.
