Viterra Inc. has announced the launch of Foothills as the newest addition to its exclusive lineup of Viterra-branded crop protection products.

Foothills is a grass herbicide for use in spring wheat and durum that provides control of wild oats, green and yellow foxtail, barnyardgrass, Persian darnel, as well as volunteer oats and canaryseed with crop safety.

This new option is specifically designed to enhance the ability of farmers to produce high yielding, healthy wheat and durum crops, said Doug Wonnacott, Senior Vice-President, Agri-products.

Foothills has more than 28 tank mix options for broad spectrum control in a single pass.
