CCPA Group strengthens presence in Turkey with acquisition of a majority stake in Yem-Vit

CCPA Group announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Yem-Vit, a Turkish company specialised in premixes, additives, and animal nutrition solutions, founded in 1987.

Based in Izmir, Yem-Vit generates annual revenues of approximately €15 million (US$17.3 million) and employs around 50 people.

Established in Turkey since 2019 through its subsidiary CCPA Turkey, specialised in ruminant nutrition, CCPA Group is taking a new step in its development. The integration of Yem-Vit strengthens the group's position in the Turkish market and provides access to the poultry segment, a growing market.

This partnership gives Yem-Vit access to CCPA Group's expertise in nutrition, formulation, and digital services, as well as to its innovative solutions based on phyto-expertise, and organic acids. These contributions will enable Yem-Vit to enrich its offering with value-added solutions, enhancing the competitiveness of its customers - feed manufacturers, integrators, and farmers - while promoting more sustainable production.

"We are delighted to join CCPA Group. This alliance gives us access to new expertise, innovative technologies, and a broader portfolio of scientifically proven solutions. It will allow us to support our customers even more effectively in improving both their performance and sustainability," said Onat Onater, managing director of Yem-Vit.

This transaction also aligns with the strategic refocusing of Devenish Group, the outgoing shareholder, on its industrial assets located in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

"We are pleased to have supported Yem-Vit since 2017 through this key stage of its development," saidTony McEntee, chief executive officer of Devenish. "In our view, CCPA Group is the ideal partner to support Yem-Vit in its next phase of growth."

"This acquisition marks another important milestone in CCPA Group’s international expansion," said François Pellet, CEO of CCPA Group. "It will enable us, together with Yem-Vit and CCPA Turkey, to build a technical, industrial, and human platform to serve the Turkish market and neighboring countries. Welcoming new colleagues into the Group will enrich us and further stimulate innovation for the benefit of all our customers. I am pleased and eager to work with Onat and Onur Onater, as well as with all the teams."

The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks.
