Sharp Drop in China's Vitamin A500 Prices; Marginal Slide in Vitamin E Prices

• Vitamin A500      

Early this week, prices of vitamin A500 dropped sharply in China. Current quotations for imported vitamin A500 mostly hover around RMB110/kg, down by RMB5-10/kg from last weekend, while general transacted prices were at the RMB110/kg level, registering a fall of RMB2/kg. The transacted volume in the Chinese market was relatively light in recent days.  

• Vitamin E        

Prices of vitamin E in China fell marginally early in the week. Existing quotations for recently imported vitamin E mostly hover around RMB50/kg, down by RMB4-6/kg from last weekend, while general transacted prices were at the RMB50/kg level, showing a drop of RMB2/kg.

Meanwhile, quotations for China's locally produced vitamin E generally average at RMB45/kg, down by RMB3/kg from the previous weekend.
