China VB1: Tight supply lifts prices (week ended Apr 1, 2024)

Vitamin B1 producers continued to lift prices while limiting production.

In the local market, transaction prices of vitamin B1 strengthened to the range of RMB143-160/kg.

Export prices strengthened to US$20/kg.

Vitamin B1 prices are seen firm amid tight availability. However, buyers will be cautious with prices higher by 45% on-year.
