China bans poultry from the Netherlands
China has shown concern regarding avian flu in the Netherlands by banning poultry products from the country, Chinese officials announced on Saturday (April 2).
This banning of products is due to the spread of H7N1 bird flu virus from the Zeeland province of the Netherlands.
China's quarantine watchdog agency and Agriculture Ministry has warned that any poultry or poultry products conceded into the country will be sent back or damaged.
