Sales of whey remained slow in China while hog farming returns slid amid plummeting prices. Traders stood firm, however, as import costs of US products have increased of late. China imported 37.180 tonnes of whey products, 26% lower month-over-month. Average import costs dropped 4.7% to USD1,050/tonne.
