Seoul to provide US$2 million of shrimp drug to Vietnam

Vietnamese shrimp farms in the district of Can Gio would receive US$2 million worth of Shrimp Doctor, a South-Korean made drug that prevents shrimp diseases, stimulates growth and shortens breeding time.

The South Korean government would provide the money to buy the drug if ongoing trials in Vietnam succeeded. Shrimp Doctor has been tested in Korea, China and Mexico, said Vietnamese distributor of the drug Huynh Hoa Co.
