China methionine prices stable while market stays quiet
Prices of methionine remained unchanged during the week ending April 3.
Sales of methionine remained slow as feed producers were reluctant to stock high inventories even as broiler markets strengthened lately.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were flat in the range of RMB20-20.50/kg.
Methionine prices are expected to stay stable in the near term.
