Poultry producer, Allen Harim Millsboro, will acquire a former Pinnacle Foods Vlasic processing facility in Millsboro, Delaware, US.

The company said it will invest US$100 million to remodel the facility into a state-of-the-art poultry processing plant which will employ about 700 people.

The facility will also house cut-up and cooking operations. The former Vlasic pickle plant has 112,000 square feet of production space and 360,000 square feet of warehouse space.

"The new facility will expand our processing capacity and allow us to introduce new products and hire more employees. This will have a significant economic impact in Delaware, and serve as a symbol of our deep commitment to the US market with an investment of an estimated US$100 million," said Gary Gladys, CEO of Allen Harim Foods.
