Russian meat banned from entering Kazakhstan
Russia's meat products have been suspended from entering Kazakhstan which imposes the restriction.
A statement by the country's committee on consumer protection announced that restriction on the sales of Russian pork products will be effected immediately. It also claimed that the E.coli bacteria and excessive sodium have been discovered on affected products this month. In addition, meat that carry pig DNA had no labelling.
The Kazakh authorities are currently clamping down on such products in the market and supply chain.
