China increases imports of US sorghum and soy in Q1
China's imports of US sorghum and soy continued to rise in the first three months of 2014, according to USDA's data.
For the week that ended on March 20, US sold 63,100 tonnes of sorghum to China, while the year-to-date volume amounted to 2.30 million tonnes.
For the same week, US shipped 317,400 tonnes of soy to China. Year-to-date sales volume reached 27.68 million tones, an increase of 28% compared to the same period of 2013.
