Japan to see 12% drop in wheat imports for 2013
Japan's feed-wheat imports may decline 12% for the year starting in April 2013, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
The government plans to cut wheat imports to as much as 1.07 million tonnes from 1.21 million tonnes estimated in September for this fiscal year.
Japan expects feed-barley imports to remain unchanged at 1.29 million tonnes for the next fiscal year.
