Phosphea introduces new identity at VIV Asia

Phosphea, which was known as Timab for 40 years, took the opportunity at VIV Asia 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand to introduce its new identity as well as promote its presence in the region.

Phosphea is recognised as a global expert in phosphates solutions for animal nutrition and has a 670kt production capacity in five certified production facilities. A subsidiary of Groupe Roullier in France, Phosphea has a range of calcium phosphates and other phosphates for all livestock species.

"The market in Asia is vibrant and competition is growing. But this challenges us to improve and consider new strategies to address the market as well as to improve our products to suit the needs of this evolving market. We are also building our team in Asia to be able to offer better support to our customers," said Pol Abiven, Business Director Asia-Pacific.

The company's name change had been well received. According to Ludivine Raillat, Communication Manager, the name change was to be more in step with the industry and the company's products.

"Through our offices and team in Asia and with the higher level of communication we have initiated with Phosphea, we have gained greater traction and visibility in this fast growing market," Raillat said.
