High prices for aquafeed worries fish producers in Denmark
The price of fish feed in Denmark has risen by 10 percent as the fish breeding industry worldwide continues to expand.
This price rise could threaten plans to triple Danish fish production over the next six years.
Hans E. Bylling at the Danish feed organisation Danmarks Førende Foderviksomheder said the price pressure is likely to continue as the global market for fish feed is growing by 8-10 percent a year, especially with the strong growth seen in China.
