China Choline Chloride: Producers lift prices amid soaring costs (week ended Mar 21, 2022)

With the costs of oils soaring, the production expanses of choline chloride increased in tandem. Producers lifted prices of choline chloride despite tepid sales.

Export prices of 50% choline chloride and 60% products rebounded to US$1.12/kg and US$1.17/kg respectively while those of 70-75% liquid products rose to US$1.27/kg.

In China, transacted prices of 50% choline chloride were stable to higher in the range of RMB7.11 -8/kg and those of 60% choline chloride climbed to RMB7.43/kg. Prices of 70%-75% liquid products increased to RMB8.04/kg.

Choline chloride producers will stand firm on choline chloride prices amid high output costs. Nonetheless, feed producers will remain prudent in making purchases, hence limiting the upward scope of choline chloride market.
