China VK3: Surging chromite cost lifts prices (week ended Mar 28, 2022)

As the costs of chromite ore from south Africa increased while production was limited due to strict environmental controls, vitamin K3 producers lifted prices lately.

Export prices of vitamin K3 (MSB) strengthened to US$26.30/kg.

In the local market transacted prices of vitamin K3 (MSB) rose to the range of RMB167-176/kg.

Soaring output costs and low production volume will lend support to vitamin K3 market.
