Methionine buyers tread prudently in China
Prices of methionine were flat during the week ending March 27.
Although producers were tempted to lift methionine prices, traders were less adamant while sales were slow. Poultry feed producers were especially cautious as the egg and broiler markets showed no signs of recovering.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine stayed in the range of RMB20-20.50/kg.
