Delacon, an Austrian phytogenic feed additive producer, has launched its new product for shrimp, ENVIRO Plus, during VIV Asia.

ENVIRO Plus is the phytogenic feed additive for profitable shrimp production. Research and product development was done in Thailand, the largest shrimp exporter globally, which provided the best scientific and commercial conditions to develop the most suitable solution for vannamei shrimp.

The product, based on a standardised combination of fractions of the quillaja tree, could improve attractiveness of feed as well as performance parameters such as weight gain, feed conversion and survivability.

The high degree of feed acceptance for diets treated with ENVIRO Plus reduces feed loss dramatically, which is a problem in shrimp production. Furthermore higher weight gain and especially lower mortality, one of the key factors in shrimp, are the key benefits of the application of ENVIRO Plus.
