Andritz Feed & Biofuel introduces improved extruder for aqua feed

Andritz Feed & Biofuel has launched the Extruder EX1021 - an improved extrusion programme for the production of fish feed, shellfish feed and pet-food, based on the experience gained from the Ex620, Ex920, Ex617, and Ex917 extruders.
The previous models are designed to meet the special demands from the aquatic feed and pet-food industries, as well as feed ingredient processing plants. They have proven their process versatility, controllability, and energy efficiency and extrusion performance, leading to uniform and high nutrient value of feeds for aquaculture and pets.
The development is aimed at further improvement in capacity, controllability, energy efficiency, durability, low replacement and maintenance costs, ease in operations, reduced down-time, easy cleaning and hence improved hygiene standards.
