China's Dalian to release US$29 million in 2008 grain subsidies
China's Dalian city said that it would continue to implement the comprehensive subsidies policy on grain farms this year, with the amount higher and paid out two months earlier.
The Municipal Committee of Agriculture reported on March 19 that the city has already given RMB213.68 million (US$30 million) in grain subsidies to its districts and counties, so the Chinese farming households can obtain the funds before March 25.
