Taiwan Sugar purchases US corn, soy in tender

 

 

According to European traders, the Taiwan Sugar Corp. has bought 23,000 tonnes of US corn and 12,000 tonnes of US soy in a tender for the same volume, which closed Thursday (Mar 22).

 

The corn was bought at US$337.09 a tonne c&f. The soy was purchased at US$2.08 c&f over the Chicago July soy contract.

 

Seller was said to be ADM.

 

The tender had sought shipment between April 22-May 6 from the US Gulf Coast, or May 7-21 from the US Pacific Northwest.
