Egypt's GASC tenders for 30,000-60,000 tonnes wheat

Egypt's main wheat buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities, or GASC, is tendering to buy 30,000 to 60,000 tonnes of wheat basis free on board for April 20-30 shipment, participating traders said Tuesday.

Wheat offers of 30,000 to 60,000 tonnes are being sought for US hard red winter, US soft red winter and hard wheat, French milling wheat, UK milling wheat, Australian and Russian wheat, they said.

Offers are due by 1000 GMT Wednesday.

No one at GASC was immediately available for comment.
