New R&D facility and improved quality assurance laboratory for Anpario

Press release

A new laboratory facility at the Anpario production and office site in Worksop will provide improved facilities for new product development and quality assurance.

The new facility enables daily quality control to be carried out efficiently in large numbers and is instrumental in helping technical staff support independent trading brands Optivite, Kiotechagil and Vitrition.

"The new facilities will enable the research and development team to try out new product formulations and blend test samples for evaluation," says Anpario quality manager Lesley Wilson.

"The full pH testing and titration equipment allows the preparation of different buffer points for the acid product lines and a range of mixers and blenders can simulate different production systems to ensure minimal scale-up problems for new formulations," Wilson added.

Complex fine chemical premixes for the aquaculture product range can also now be produced in-house.

Equipped with fume filtration complying with BS7989:2001, the new laboratory protects technical staff against dusty or strong smelling substances, and is at the same time both environmentally friendly and energy efficient.

Anpario's products are used around the world by farmers and integrators producing meat and dairy products for human consumption, and to feed mills. Anpario has developed products for the poultry, pig, ruminant and animal feed markets.
