Philippines to look into livestock medications used in Czech Republic

The Philippines will study livestock medications used in the Czech Republic to improve local cattle farming.

Quoting Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said the Department of Agriculture will communicate with Czech authorities regarding livestock medications.

Marcos had earlier embarked on a three-day state visit to the Czech Republic. He was informed that the country has technologies to produce medicines which improve the condition of livestock, according to a press release.

The president added that if conditions permit, the Philippines will not only procure such medicines but will also eventually produce its own livestock medication.

"So, that's what we're looking at… that we have our own source," he said.
