At a meeting between officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus and representatives of Gruppo Paoletti group of companies, Vittorio Paoletti, chief of Italian company Socesfin SRL said that his company would like to set up agricultural enterprises in Belarus to cultivate grain crops.

The parties discussed trade and economic cooperation. "The Italian side noted that they have a tremendous interest in the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture. In particular, the chief said the company is willing to establish an agricultural enterprise in Belarus with a 100% Italian capital share to cultivate grain crops and possibly branch out into meat cattle and hog production in the future.

The Italian company is set to hold series of meetings in the regions of Belarus to develop these relations.
