Aviagen Turkeys strengthens customer focus with new appointments

Jonny Harrison, who has had extensive experience in the international poultry industry, takes up the new position of Commercial Director. Harrison joins the team with 27 years of experience in various aspects of poultry production. Prior to joining Aviagen, Harrison held various senior roles in UK poultry production.

He established and led the technical team in Aviagen to successfully expand Aviagen's chicken business in Eastern Europe, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Russia. More recently, as Global Technical Transfer Manager, he worked with the team to develop and communicate best practice in poultry husbandry.

Technical Director Appointee - Dr John Ralph has 16 years of experience in the animal breeding business in a broad range of roles in senior management, product development and genomics. He recently led Aviagen's Global Technical Systems group to support the technical side of the chicken breeding business. Ralph received his PhD in Animal Science and MBA from Edinburgh University.
