Argentina's 2005/06 corn sales remains at 8.585 million tonnes

 

 

As of March 16, Argentina had sold 8.585 million tonnes of 2005/06 (March-February) corn for export, unchanged from the past 16 weeks, according to the Agriculture Secretariat's latest data.

 

The Secretariat closed the corn export registry in November in the face of soaring export declarations.

 

By this time last year Argentina had sold 13.995 million tonnes of 2004/05 corn.

 

Each figure represents thousands of tonnes sold.
