Jamaica Broilers Group welcomes latest member to board of directors

The board of directors of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited (JBG) welcomed Syd Mogg as its newest member, the company announced.

Mogg is an agriculturist with over 39 years of extensive local and international experience. He joined Jamaica Broilers Group (JBG) in 1991 and is currently the vice-president of the company's US subsidiary Wincorp International Inc.

Mogg has played an integral role in the successful acquisition and operations of four companies in the US. He has direct responsibilities for the efficient management of the team entrusted to produce and support the growth, production and sales of broiler breeders, fertile eggs and the formulation and manufacturing of feed for chicks.

Mogg has developed strategic relationships with key industry players and regulatory agencies in the US and over twenty trading partner countries of Wincorp.

He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in agriculture from the University of Florida.
