Nedap Agri expands in Asia
Netherlands-based, Nedap Agri, announced that it is expanding in Asia with the appointment of Andries Jan Oosterhof to take responsibility of the Asian market.
The company will develop commercial activities in the region's expanding pig industry.
In January 2008, the company announced that it is moving to tap the North American market for group housing as the region phases out gestation stalls.
The company has set up a North American branch to market its Electronic Sow Feeding (ESF) to manage group housed sows.
Nedap Agri develops, produces and markets automation for the animal husbandry worldwide. Producers of meat and milk experience an increasing demand for their products by a growing world population and an increasing wealth.
