China Live Hog Weekly: Demand surge, tight supply lift prices (week ended Mar 8, 2019)
Pork demand recovered as slaughterhouses stocked depleted inventories, lifting pork carcass volumes in major wholesale centres to surge 5.2% to 8,169 tonnes. Prices increased 0.56% to RMB17.86/kg over the week.
