Cargill's Provimi announces new country director in Vietnam

 
 

Cargill's Provimi in Vietnam has welcomed Lu Yuan as its new country director.

In her role, Lu oversees business operations for Provimi, with the responsibility to identify growth opportunities in animal nutrition solutions in Vietnam.

She is based in Ho Chi Minh City and reports to JC Filippi, managing director of Cargill Provimi in Southeast Asia.

Lu has been with Cargill for more than six years, and was most recently the business development director for Provimi's business in China. She has a deep knowledge of the regional animal nutrition market, having held leadership roles in strategic marketing, M&A and commercial activities for the business in China and Southeast Asia.

Lu holds an MBA from Hamline University, US. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in animal nutrition application at China Nanjing Agriculture University.
