Growth of Spain's pork production maintained last year

Spain's pork production continued to increase in 2021, reaching 5,194,435 tonnes and surpassing 2020's record.

Although the country's pork production increased 3.82% from 2020, the pace of growth had slowed, falling below a near 8% increase in 2020.

Additionally, the number of animals slaughtered reached 58,499,719 head, 4.22% more than in 2020.
