Idaho to use US$26 million to acquire fish farm

The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee has voted to allocate money for the acquisition of a US$26 million fish farm in Idaho.

The fish farm is located in Magic Valley, which is close to Twin Falls, the largest city in Idaho.

The acquisition will enable the usage of the farm's water, which may settle disputes between groundwater pumpers and fish farms in the region.

In addition, Idaho would allocate US$10 million for loans this year, adding onto the US$5 million already within the package.
