US cuts duties on Ecuadorian shrimp imports
The US has lowered its duties on Ecuadorian shrimp imports from 3.58 percent to 2.25 percent, according to Maria Fernanda Espinosa, Ecuador's minister of foreign relations, commerce and integration.
Ecuador exported 10.6 million pounds of shrimp in January, after exporting 224 million pounds worth US$670 million in 2006.
