China methionine market stays soft amid light trade
Prices of methionine were stable to lower during the week ending March 11.
Trade was light in methionine market, prompting a handful of traders to cut prices in efforts to close deals. However, with livestock fed sales sluggish, feed producers were not keen to stock inventories, preferring to purchases as and when required.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine stayed in the range of RMB17.30-18.30/kg.
