Lacklustre demand holds China lysine prices flat
Lysine prices were unchanged during the week ending March 11.
Feed producers held limited inventories of lysine as the hog sector continued to stay weak. Additionally, persistently sliding soymeal prices resulted in low inclusion rates of lysine in feed formulation. hence prompting buyers to purchase as and when required.
Nonetheless, as lysine producers limited output, prices stayed stable over the week in review.
For imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted prices stayed at RMB9.40-10.20/kg.
