Russia sees 32.4% in grain exports during 2012/13

 

 

Russia's grain exports have reached 13.903 million tonnes since the beginning of the season in July 2012, a drop of 32.4% compared to the same period of the 2011/12 marketing year, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture.

 

According to the announcement, in the period of March 1-6, 2013, Russian grain exports have totalled 63 thousand tonnes, including 19 thousand tonnes of wheat. Corn formed the main share of the imports in the reporting period, 43 thousand tonnes.

 

According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture, Russia will export nearly 14.8 million tonnes of grains in the 2012/13 marketing year.
