China vitamin A prices soar on supply shortages (week ended Mar 9, 2020)
Vitamin A prices rose sharply of late as output of local producers remained limited while supplies from a global producer decreased. In some regions, prices surged almost 50% as sellers who have stocks took the opportunity to maximise returns.
