Stonehaven Incubate appoints new CEO
Switzerland-based animal health group Stonehaven Incubate AG has appointed former Copenhagen Life Science Advisors' managing partner, Jarne Elleholm, as its new CEO with effect from March 1.
He replaces founding Stonehaven Incubate CEO and animal health executive, Dr. Mark Heffernan, who will remain on the board of directors.
Elleholm has extensive venture capital experience having run and managed three Danish venture funds with 24 portfolio companies, working with entrepreneurs and developing start-up and early stage growth companies towards exit. He was chairman of Scandinavian Micro Biodevices, an animal health company that he had helped develop and finally divested to Zoetis.
Elleholm has a strong network in the European venture capital community and will look to develop existing portfolio companies and provide new syndication partners for Stonehaven Incubate.
"I am delighted to have joined Stonehaven Incubate and look forward to helping to develop and maximise the potential of its maturing portfolio, as well as to launch new companies in the coming months and years," said Elleholm.
