CPF builds biomass power plant in Myanmar
Sahacogen PCL, a subsidiary of Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) will be setting up a new biomass power plant with Myanmar's local investors, selling electric power to the government, while utilizing the steam power for instant noodle production.
Mr. Supat Sritanatorn, Senior Vice President of CPF said the company had penetrated Myanmar market well with their food products and investment in the country will increase in returns.
Between March 30 and April 4, 30 delegates from Thai-Myanmar Business Council will visit Myanmar together with CPF, sourcing for investment opportunities.
