Shandong's frozen poultry meat got export certification

Shandong Fengxiang (Group) Co. Ltd and Shandong Jinmei Food Co. Ltd have received approval from Malaysian authorities to resume exports of frozen poultry meat, according to China's General Administration of Quality Supervision and Quarantine.

In late 2006, veterinarians from Malaysia conducted inspections of the province's hygiene and food safety measures.

This is the first time since January 2004 that China's frozen poultry meat was exported. A series of outbreaks of virulent bird flu more than 2 years ago caused more than 40 countries to ban poultry products from China.
